Audi A4 or Volvo V50?

I'm looking to buy a new car. Which is more reliable a Audi A4 estate 02-06 or a Volovo V50?Which has the cheaper parts etc?

I would personally take the Volvo. You have far superior safety with the Volvo, as well as a more comfortable ride. Audi's tend to ride a little rough. As far as Reliability it's all in how to take care of it. They are pretty much = in the reliability department.
