does anyone own a volvo s70 diesal car?

can you tell me what you think of it as i am thinking of buying it, is it strong and economical, what are the bad things about it, would you buy one again?? what sort of economy does the diesal engine give, what are the common problems with them??

well let me see basily there s h i t mate diseil yer it is cheap on fuel cause disiel is cheaper then petrol but personaly i hate volvo's there nice looking but the engine is w a n k and unreliable common probs oil leaks head gasgets electrics and timing belts but only on ( petrol models timing belts )

Not a S70.. but i have a V70 ... all i can say is that its the best car iv had and the first Diesel car iv owned....Fast / comfortable / and very economical .. easy 45miles to the gallon...and service cost are very good ..£ 150 .00 for a Full service is better than a Ford Escort ..!! Also the engines are very strong and 200,000 miles is the norm.My last Volvo 240DL did 550,000..!!Good luck with the S70... you wont regret it.
