Can you attach and use a child seat on the fold

down rear seat of a Volvo V70, XC70? Also interested in you can use an infant seat. Does the rear seat only have belts...or a shoulder harness too? Thanks.

yes you can, it is thought that facing the seat to the rear helps in an accident, but i found it difficult to drive if i could not see my babies face,,personal choice my friendgood luck and safe driving

If you are talking about the third row folding seat in the cargo area i would strongly advise against it.There are full shoulder harnesses for this seat but if a collission occurs directly in the rear it would be bad.
