...& it has deadlocked itself.Does anyone know how I can get into it? Need to recharge the battery but can't get into the car as it has deadlocked itself. So can't open bonnet - help! Can't open doors manually (with key) or with fob.

I cant possibly say what exactly seems to be the problem with your battery, but since it deadlocked itself...That happened to me once with my 325 BMW, it turns out that my code was activated by mistake, and the chip under my car automatically disengaged itself. I called my dealer, they tracked my data down and automatically unlocked the locks. It sucks, but since I was prepared to call nearby help, I was helped. BUT, anyways, since you do not have a BMW but a VOLVO, I'd suggest calling a dealer that specializes with VOVLO, cuz if you call someone to open your doors they will screw up with your paint or windows, and later suffer complications with your windows, soo..hope I dont sound too cheesy or anything, man~

The keys don't work? I belive the police can still use a jimmy bar to get people into their vehicle, but they are not responsible for damage.... otherwise you can call a locksmith... will probably cost you 30-50 bucks to get it opened. But probably would be cheaper than the next option.. break out a small window so you can get into it.

A mechanic just told me this:Hold the key in the door in the unlock position for 10 seconds, three times.
