volvo s80 2.9?

I have a 2001 volvo s80 2.9 and need to know two things:1) What kind of fuel is best for my car (regular, premium, etc)2) What kind of oil should i prefer. I am willing to spend the most to keep this car in best shape.the first time i got oil change was at MIDAS and good. since my last oil change at Firestone, it seems my average has gone crazy down and the car sucks....is it possible that they put in wrong type of oil

use whatever fuel is specified in the manual. an S80 may require 91 octane. If it does you really shoudl stick to it as using an octane rating lower than required can cause preignition (pinging) which can damage the engine. note if the car only requires 87, you will not benifit in any way if you use 91.As far as oil, to be honest regular oil change ever 3500 miles will make it last forever. If you have high demands on the car then you may wish to opt for a sythetic. Just dont go back and forth.
