...adhesive has come loose and Volvo says thats the only way.? My 2000 C70 convertible glass top window's adhesive has come loose and the dealership says that the only way to fix it is to purchase a WHOLE new top for over $3K. Has anyone had this situation and gone another route to fix it???

that is complete bullshit. take it to a reputable body shop, i know in my town we have a shop that specifically does window and convertible top repair. that should be a 200 dollar fix tops. dont let yourself get screwed, just becasue you have money dosent mean you should have to spend it.

well if you still want the wanranty to be good you have to do it with the leadership but if you dont care about it anymore you can go to places where you can costumize you car and youll check prizes with them

i have had many run ins with Volvos, then are very extreme lieing as*wh*l*s, they just have horrible service but since you do have a convertible and it is 6 years old i would prbaly just get a new one really its probaly the easiest and best. but if low on $$$$$$$$then just get it repaired and a Certified Scandinavian Auto Repair Shop.
